Weeknight Elegant Chicken and Pasta
A Doctored UP Recipe for company or to have extra for leftovers

Makes 5-6 servings

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a large and deep skillet, sauté the chicken thighs until done, remove and shred or cut the chicken into bite sized chunks.
  2. In the same skillet, set the temperature to medium low and pour in the 2 jars of pasta sauce, then slowly add the cooked chicken into to the sauce and cover to heat.
  3. In Dutch oven boil the Tortellini as directed on the package and drain.
  4. You can add the sauce with the chicken into the Dutch oven to make as one dish, or individually serve the pasta with the chicken sauce over it.


Tossed salads, and garlic bread or toast makes this complete.
 Brownies dusted with powdered sugar is the family’s favorite dessert with pasta.
